There are several opportunities for all ages to participate at Four Rivers Church.

Sundays feature service at 9 a.m. in the Sanctuary, with River Kids – ages preschool through fifth grade – hold a kids’ church in the newly renovated Courtyard. The nursery, staffed by volunteers, is open for all services. We start with praise and worship led by the FRC Worship Team followed by a message from Pastor Vernon Leighty.

Wednesday night is lovingly known as The Harvest. There are classes for Children (ages 4 through fifth grade); Youth (sixth through 12th grade); and Adults. Nursery is also available for ages 0-3.

Friday evenings, Celebrate Recovery meets in the Great Room beginning with dinner at 5:30 p.m. CR is a Bible-based recover program that focuses on our hurts, habits, and hangups from A-Z. Finding healing through the one and only higher power – Jesus Christ.

We have a Bus Ministry that travels around Marshfield and Niangua for anyone needing a ride to church. Just call the church at 417-859-5433, leave a message, and our staff will get back with you to see if we can make transportation arrangements.

We also have Men’s and Women’s ministries, along with our missionaries in Mexico, Turkey and the Believer’s Ministry.

The Nursery is open for River Tots ages 0-3. River Tykes, ages 4-6, and River Kids, ages 7-11, have class time on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Children’s Church at 9 a.m. on Sundays.

LIQUID Youth is a ministry for student in 6-12 grade. Our goal is to disciple the next generation to be the hands and feet of Christ and to follow His word as they lead others to Jesus. 1Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on your because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Men are called to be the leaders of our homes and church. Each month our men get together to enjoy fellowship with one another and unite in Christ.

River Chicks is not a club, there’s no membership roster. We are the women of the church being the light of Christ to one another and our community. We meet at 6:30 p.m. the fourth Friday of each month in the great room to enjoy a devotion and fellowship with one another.

“They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” – Jeremiah 17:8
